Jennifer Wilcox - Division Chief, Robbery Liaison, Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney
Ms. Wilcox received her license to practice law in Florida in 2000. She received her license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in 2001and came to the Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney in May of 2002. Ms. Wilcox received her Bachelor of Arts in Government and Spanish in 1996 from Western Kentucky University and her Juris Doctor in 2000 from the University of Kentucky where she served as Student Bar Association President and a member of the Moot Court Board". Before coming to the Commonwealth, Ms. Wilcox was an Assistant Director of Law at the City of Louisville Department of Law from May of 2001 to May of 2002. Ms. Wilcox was also a Staff Assistant to Rules Committee Ranking Member, Senator Wendell H. Ford for the United States Senate Committee on Rules and Administration from February of 1997 to August of 1997. Ms. Wilcox is the chair of the Louisville Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, a member of the Louisville Science Center Board, a member of the University of Kentucky College of Law Alumni Association and a member of the Western Kentucky University Alumni Association. Ms. Wilcox is a professional member of the Florida Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association and the Louisville Bar Association. Ms. Wilcox is currently the Division Chief of General Trial Division A.
Ms. Gray received her license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in 1994, and joined the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office in June of 2004. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Ohio State University in 1991, and her Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School in 1994. From 1994 until 2004, she served as a Staff Attorney and Directing Attorney for the Department of Public Advocacy in Pikeville and Paintesville. In the past, she has served as a Red Cross Board Member and volunteer, and a member of the Women's Club, Johnson County Bar Association, and Floyd County Domestic Violence Council. She is also admitted to the practice of law in Ohio . Ms. Gray served as a member of the Supreme Court of Kentucky Evidence Rules Review Commission from 2000-2004. She is a professional member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the Louisville Bar Association. Ms. Gray currently serves as the Victim Advocate Co-ordinator, the Sexual Assault Liaison for the office and is the Deputy Division Chief of General Trial Division A.
Chris Hutchison - FAST Team Chief, Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney
Mr. Hutchison received his license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in 1994 and came to the Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney in August, 2000. Mr. Hutchison received his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Miami in 1991 and his Juris Doctor from the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville in 1994. Before coming to the Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney Mr. Hutchison worked as an Associate at Owen, Harvey & Carter from 1994 to 1995; an Associate at B.R. Salyer Law Offices from 1995 to 1996; as General Counsel to Commercial Counselors International from 1996 to 1997; and as an Assistant County Prosecutor in the Fayette County Attorney's Office from 1997 to 2000. Mr. Hutchison is a professional Member of the Louisville Bar Association and the Kentucky Bar Association. Mr. Hutchison is Division Chief of The F.A.S.T. Team which is responsible for the prosecution of individuals involved in motor vehicle collisions in which someone has been killed, injured or endangered. He is currently assigned to General Trial Division A.
Arthur J. McLaughlin III - Arson Liaison, Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney
Mr. McLaughlin received his license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in 2004, and became an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney in November of that year. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Centre College in 1997, and graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2003. Mr. McLaughlin served in a variety of positions in private law firms for the last five years; he also worked as a Reporter and Assistant Editor for Hoop Scoop Magazine. Mr. McLaughlin earned a number of awards and honors while in law school, and serves as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. He is a professional member of the Louisville Bar Association and Kentucky Bar Association. Mr. McLaughlin is currently assigned to General Trial Division A, and he also serves as the Arson Liaison.
Elizabeth Jones Brown - Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney
Ms. Brown received her law degree from Georgetown University (DC) Law Center is 2002. A member of the Kentucky Bar since 2007, she is also licensed as a member of the bar in the state of Virginia and in the District of Columbia. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Anthropology from Centre College in 1996, and a Master of Arts Degree in International Relations from the University of Kentucky in 1998. In the past, she worked as a Law Clerk for a Judge in the DC Superior Court, and she served as Assistant General Counsel to the Federal Bureau Investigation (FBI) from 2004 to 2007. Ms. Brown is a professional member of the Kentucky Bar Association and the Louisville Bar Association and is currently assigned to General Trial Division A.
Leland Hulbert- Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney
Mr. Hulbert received his license to practice law in Kentucky in 2002, and joined the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office in 2007. He is a 2001 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law, and he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Miami (Ohio) University with a double major of Political Science and Sociology and a minor in Criminology. He was an Assistant Jefferson County Attorney from 2002 to 2007, serving as a Prosecutor in Felony/Misdemeanor Court and as Chief Jury Trial Prosecutor in Warrant Court. Also in the past, he served as a Law Clerk for the Jefferson County Attorney's Office and for the old City Law Department. Mr. Hulbert's past experiences also include being an Office Manager for 5/3 Bank in Cincinnati, Ohio. He currently coaches 8th Grade Boys Basketball for the Catholic School Athletic Association, and in the past has been in the Jefferson County Public School Mentor Program and has participated as a Judge in the Bellarmine Mock Trial Program. Mr. Hulbert is a graduate of the 2008 LBA Leadership Academy and is an LBA Leadership Fellow. Mr. Hulbert is a professional member of the Kentucky Bar Association and The Louisville Bar Association. In addition, he serves as one of two CAO Mentoring Managers. He is currently assigned to General Trial Division A.
