ARRAIGNMENTS

 

  1. Joseph W. Locke (DOB 3/31/89) / Robert L. Morris (DOB 10/11/85) / Kerron L. Slaughter (DOB 1/31/88) – 07CR3527.  (LOCKE: Murder, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance; ALL: Tampering with Physical Evidence)  The defendants are charged in connection with the October 19, 2007 shooting death of Michael Shields whose body was found in an alley off the 400 block of Amy Avenue.  Arraignment has already occurred.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Thursday, December 20, Division 6, at 8:45 A.M.  Mark Baker is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Mary Ellen Tyndall – 07CR3534.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Ms. Tyndall (DOB 8/26/54) is charged in connection with the October 19, 2007 bludgeoning death of her husband, Nara Tyndall, at their home in the 1300 block of Dixie Highway.  Arraignment has already occurred.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, January 2, Division 1, at 9:30 A.M.  Kristen Poindexter is the prosecutor.

 

 

HEARING

 

  1. Cecil E. Geron – 06CR1764.  (Murder)  Mr. Geron (DOB 10/28/76) is charged in connection with the May 24, 2006 beating death of Kristopher McGary in the alley in the 900 block of Beecher Street.  A Hearing is scheduled for Monday, November 5, Division 10, at 3:00 P.M.  Felicia Nu’Man is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Antonio L. Bradley – 04CR3162.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Bradley (DOB 5/24/83) is charged in connection with the November 3, 2004 shooting death of Jonathan Watson on West Jefferson Street.  A Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, November 6, Division 7, at 9:30 A.M.  David Lewis is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Sybil M. Smith – 06CR1444.  (Theft By Deception [10 Counts], Failure to Make Required Disposition of Property >$300)  Ms. Smith (DOB 5/19/38) is charged in connection with the mishandling of charitable funds intended for ALS related causes.  A Plea Hearing is scheduled for Thursday, November 8, Division 3, at 9:00 A.M.  Todd Lewis is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Tyrus Lamont Harvey – 05CR3358. (Robbery 1st Degree [10 Counts], Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Escape 2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree)  Mr. Harvey (DOB 9/9/69) is charged in connection with the armed robbery of numerous businesses throughout Jefferson County.  A Status Hearing is scheduled for Thursday, November 8, Division 10, at 1:00 P.M.  Kristi Gray is the prosecutor.

 

 

PRE - TRIAL CONFERENCE

 

1.      Semonin T. Moorman – 07CR2576.  (Murder)  Ms. Moorman (DOB 9/30/81) is charged in connection with the July 28, 2007 stabbing death of Patricia Shoulders in the 4100 block of Hazelwood Avenue.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, November 5, Division 7, at 9:00 A.M.  Artie McLaughlin is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Charlotte Rose Weathers – 07CR3275.  (Manslaughter 2nd Degree)  Ms. Weathers (DOB 3/30/51) is charged in connection with a May 17, 2007 fight at a bar in the 2500 block of Bank Street which resulted in the death of David Wayne Woodson.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, November 5, Division 3, at 11:00 A.M.  Katherine Kingren is the prosecutor.

 

3.      Martha Bowmer – 07CR2069.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Ms. Bowmer (DOB 2/29/56) is charged in connection with the June 9, 2007 shooting death of William Jones in the 400 block of South 20th Street.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, November 5, Division 11, at 3:30 P.M.  Katherine Kingren is the prosecutor.

 

4.      Daniel Rodriguez – 07CR2867.  (Murder, Criminal Attempted Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Rodriguez (DOB 1/19/84) is charged in connection with the August 19, 2007 shooting death of Loranzo Hyatt who was found in the emergency lane of Interstate 264 between Cane Run Road and Dixie Highway.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, November 7, Division 8, at 9:00 A.M.  Michelle Grant Rudovich is the prosecutor.

 

5.      Ebonie Yvette Phillips (DOB 12/23/81) / Robert G. Thomas, Jr. (DOB 8/1/82) – 07CR3370.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  The defendants are charged in connection with the October 2, 2007 shooting death of Charles Mitchell, III in the parking lot of the St. Andrews Park apartment complex in the 6900 block of Brooklawn Drive.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, November 9, Division 2, at 8:45 A.M.  Michelle Grant Rudovich is the prosecutor.

 

6.      Jesse Montez Galloway (DOB 5/28/86) / Corey D. Yelder (DOB 11/29/87) / Steven Lamont Smith (DOB 8/7/88) – 07CR0104 & 07CR0310.  (Murder [2 Counts], Robbery 1st Degree [2 Counts], Burglary 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  The defendants are charged in connection with the July 29, 2006 shooting deaths of Lydell Perks and Aaron Pike at a home in the 2200 block of Thurman Drive.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, November 9, Division 1, at 10:00 A.M.  Scott Davis is the prosecutor.

 

 

TRIAL

 

1.      Princess Carver – 05CR1922.  (Assault 1st Degree, Criminal Abuse 1st Degree [4 Counts])  Ms. Carver (DOB 7/15/82) is charged in connection with injuries sustained to her 7 month old son.  A Trial is tentatively scheduled for Monday, November 5, Division 3, at 1:00 P.M.  Carol Cobb is the prosecutor.

 

2.      John Marrion Terry – 04CR3286.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Terry (DOB 12/31/61) is charged in connection with the March 26, 2004 stabbing death of Linda Elmore near the intersection of Adam and Campbell Streets.  A Trial is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, November 6, Division 13, at 9:30 A.M.  Ryane Conroy is the prosecutor.

 

 

SENTENCING

 

1.      Leslie N. Emerson - 02CR1367.  Mr. Emerson (DOB 4/8/81) was found guilty of Murder and Tampering with Physical Evidence in connection with the June 1, 2002 shooting death of Jerry Monroe at 4300 Fegenbush Lane.  In January 2005, he was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole for 25 years.  Upon appeal, the Kentucky Supreme Court affirmed the guilty verdict but remanded the case back to Circuit Court for a new penalty phase.  Sentencing is scheduled for Tuesday, November 6, Division 7, at 9:00 A.M.  Carol Cobb and Christie Foster are the prosecutors.

 

2.      Malcolm L. Parsons – 07CR1364.  Mr. Parsons (DOB 10/28/82) pleaded guilty to Manslaughter 2nd Degree and Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Intoxicants in connection with the April 4, 2007 wreck on Eastern Parkway which resulted in the death of Matthew Johnson.  Sentencing is scheduled for Thursday, November 8, Division 12, at 9:00 A.M.  Chris Hutchison is the prosecutor.

 

3.      Errick D. Duncan – 04CR1379 & 04CR3360.  Mr. Duncan (DOB 6/8/75) was found guilty of Sexual Abuse, Kidnapping and Stalking 2nd Degree (2 Counts) in connection with the November 23, 2003 abduction and abuse of a 14 year old female victim near Southern Middle School as well as several other incidents in that area.  Sentencing is scheduled for Friday, November 9, Division 7, at 8:30 A.M.  Cheryl Robinson is the prosecutor.
