ARRAIGNMENTS

 

  1. Charlotte Rose Weathers – 07CR3275.  (Manslaughter 2nd Degree)  Ms. Weathers (DOB 3/30/51) is charged in connection with a May 17, 2007 fight at a bar in the 2500 block of Bank Street which resulted in the death of David Wayne Woodson.  Arraignment is scheduled for Monday, October 15, Division 3, at 9:30 A.M.  Katherine Kingren is the prosecutor.

 

 

PRE - TRIAL CONFERENCE

 

1.      Jared Steen - 07CR2915.  (Murder, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Intoxicants)  Mr. Steen (DOB 9/30/87) is charged in connection with the May 4, 2007 crash on Crittenden Drive which resulted in the death of Robert Lyle.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, October 16, Division 8, at 8:30 A.M.  Chris Hutchison is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Lloyd Hammond – 06CR2087.  (Murder [2 Counts], Burglary 1st Degree, Kidnapping)  Mr. Hammond (DOB 10/20/85) is charged in connection with the June 3, 2006 shooting death of William Sawyers in the 2000 block of West Market Street and the June 17, 2006 shooting death of Kerry Williams in the 700 block of South 23rd Street.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, October 17, Division 7, at 8:30 A.M.  Tom Van De Rostyne is the prosecutor.

 

3.      Dominic D. Simonton – 07CR0952 & 06CR3111.  (Murder, Assault 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Simonton (DOB 7/4/77) is charged in connection with the October 6, 2006 death of Derrick Watkins which resulted from a September 18, 2006 shooting near Preston and Oak and St. Catherine.  Another victim was wounded in this same incident.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, October 17, Division 5, at 11:00 A.M.  Scott Davis is the prosecutor.

 

4.      Shaheed A. Aluqdah – 06CR2610.  (Murder, Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree)  Mr. Aluqdah (DOB 7/10/80) is charged in connection with the June 3, 2006 shooting death of Terrell Cherry in the 2200 block of Humler Street.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Thursday, October 18, Division 3, at 9:30 A.M.  Tom Van De Rostyne is the prosecutor.

 

5.      Rachel Bowerman (DOB 1/9/78) / Shaconda Daniel (DOB12/21/79) / Gail McWhorter (DOB 4/11/45) / Tonita Thompson (DOB 9/19/73) – 07CR2793.  (BOWERMAN: Manslaughter 2nd Degree, Wanton Abuse of an Adult; McWHORTER: Perjury 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Reckless Abuse of an Adult; DANIEL & THOMPSON: Perjury 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  The defendants are charged in connection with the June 25, 2006 injury death of Lois Bright and subsequent Grand Jury investigation.  Ms. Bright was a patient at Four Courts Senior Center in Jefferson County.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, October 19, Division 2, at 9:30 A.M.  Todd Lewis is the prosecutor.

 

6.      Johnny Lee Allen (DOB 11/9/87) / James A. Clark (DOB 4/29/89) – 07CR1219.  (Murder [2 Counts], Robbery 1st Degree [2 Counts], Theft by Unlawful Taking >$300, Tampering with Physical Evidence [2 Counts])  The defendants are charged in connection with the February 2, 2007 deaths of Anthony Howze and Ashley Yennes whose bodies were found in a car in an alley off of Beecher Street.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, October 19, Division 2, at 10:00 A.M.  Scott Davis is the prosecutor.

 

7.      Alvin R. Griffin (DOB 7/15/77) / Chyralle D. Malone (DOB 4/9/73) / Maurice Eugene Huff (DOB 2/1/80) – 05CR3651 & 06CR2837.  (Murder, Robbery 1st Degree)  The defendants are charged in connection with the December 4, 2005 shooting death of Deandre Anthony in an apartment complex in the 3400 block of Boxelder Road.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, October 19, Division 1, at 10:30 A.M.  Mark Baker is the prosecutor.

 

 

TRIAL

 

1.      Richard Johnson – 07CR1500.  (Rape 2nd Degree, Sodomy 2nd Degree)  Mr. Johnson (DOB 1/26/68), a Metro Corrections Sergeant, is charged in connection with the abuse of two juvenile female victims.  A Trial is tentatively scheduled for Monday, October 15, Division 6, at 1:00 P.M.  Cheryl Robinson is the prosecutor.
