HEARING

 

  1. Michael A. Elery – 09CR0625.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Violation of a Protective Order)  Mr. Elery (DOB 3/29/79) is charged in connection with the February, 20, 2009 stabbing death of Dana McDonald at an apartment in the 3300 block of Warwickshire Court.  A Bond Hearing is scheduled for Monday, October 12, Division 10, at 10:00 A.M.  Michelle Rudovich is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Percy D. Brown – 09CR0338.  (Murder, Kidnapping, Sodomy 1st Degree [3 Counts], Intimidating a Participant in the Legal Process [3 Counts], Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree)  Mr. Brown (DOB 8/29/63) is charged in connection with the September 16, 2004 shooting death of Jennifer French at a home in the 2600 block of West Market Street.  A Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, Division 8, at 8:30 A.M.  Erin White is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Trey Devone Skaggs – 09CR0957.  (Murder, Attempted Murder, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Fleeing or Evading Police, Possession of a Defaced Firearm, Resisting Arrest)  Mr. Skaggs (DOB 3/4/91) is charged in connection with the March 22, 2009 shooting death of Jose Morales Zarabia at a Speedway gas station in the 7400 block of Third Street Road.  A Competency Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, Division 11, at 1:30 P.M.  Lisa Cartier Giroux is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Kenielle D. Finch – 08CR2333.  (Murder [2 Counts], Assault 1st Degree, Assault 3rd Degree, Fleeing or Evading Police [2 Counts], Tampering with Physical Evidence, Failure to Stop and Render Aid, Reckless Driving, Disregarding Official Traffic Control Device [2 Counts], No Motor Vehicle Insurance, Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree)  Mr. Finch (DOB 5/3/82) is charged in connection with the July 25, 2008 deaths of Claudia Faye Wadlington and Riley Jane Lawrence.  The incident occurred on Floyd Street near the University of Louisville campus.  A Suppression Hearing is scheduled for Thursday, October 15, Division 13, at 1:30 P.M.  Ryane Conroy and Frank Dahl are the prosecutors.

 

5.      Dewayne D. Smith – 09CR2206.  (Murder, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Intoxicants)  Mr. Smith (DOB 6/4/88) is charged in connection with the July 24, 2009 crash in the 4800 block of Cane Run Road that resulted in the death of William Keeth.  A Bond Hearing is scheduled for Friday, October 16, Division 11, at 11:30 A.M.  Kristi Gray is the prosecutor.

 

 

 

PRE - TRIAL CONFERENCE

 

1.      Don S. Fielder – 09CR0574.  (Murder, Rape 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Fielder (DOB 8/16/83) is charged in connection with the February 12, 2009 death of Antigone Graham Smith at her apartment on Zachary Circle in the Park Place Apartments.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, October 12, Division 12, at 9:00 A.M.  Erin White is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Mary Ellen Tyndall – 07CR3534.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Ms. Tyndall (DOB 8/26/54) is charged in connection with the October 19, 2007 bludgeoning death of her husband, Nara Tyndall, at their home in the 1300 block of Dixie Highway.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, October 12, Division 1, at 9:30 A.M.  John Balliet is the prosecutor.

 

3.      Deqontay Dunnaway (DOB 4/22/88) / Antonio Robinson (DOB 6/24/82) / Jeffrey Robinson (DOB 9/5/86) / Demetrice Thornton (DOB 4/2/89) / Michael A. Wilson (DOB 7/7/86) – 08CR3803.  (Murder [2Counts], Tampering with Physical Evidence [2 Counts], Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, Receiving a Stolen Firearm, Criminal Syndication)  The defendants are charged in connection with the November 28, 2008 shooting death of Eugene Staten and the December 13, 2008 shooting death of Dontay Irvin.  Both incidents happened at 43rd and Market streets.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, Division 7 at 9:00 A.M.  Lisa Cartier Giroux is the prosecutor.

 

4.      Jerome T. Savage – 09CR2215.  (Murder, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Intoxicants, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree)  Mr. Savage (DOB 1/9/85) is charged in connection with the January 11, 2009 crash on Outer Loop which resulted in the death of Hector Portela Costa, Jr.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, Division 5, at 9:00 A.M.  Frank Dahl is the prosecutor.

 

5.      Preston D. Troupe, III – 09CR2219.  (Murder, Robbery 1st Degree)  Mr. Troupe (DOB 10/6/82) is charged in connection with the July 2, 2009 shooting death of Steven Meeks at an apartment in the 4700 block of Taylor Blvd.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, Division 2, at 9:30 A.M.  Nick Neumann is the prosecutor.

 

6.      Kevin D. Luther – 09CR0794.  (Theft by Unlawful Taking >$300 [95 Counts])  Mr. Luther (DOB 4/24/65) is charged in connection with the unlawful taking of funds from the Hyatt Regency Hotel between March 2007 and December 2008  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, Division 12, at 9:45 A.M.  Stacy Greive is the prosecutor.

 

 

TRIAL

 

1.      Christopher Boyd Johnson – 08CR2950.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Johnson (DOB 9/4/76) is charged in connection with the October 1, 2008 shooting death of Tony Johnson at the Louisville Manor Motel in Shively.  A Trial is tentatively scheduled for Monday, October 12, Division 6, at 1:00 P.M.  Michelle Rudovich is the prosecutor.
