PRE - TRIAL CONFERENCE
1. Martha Bowmer – 07CR2069. (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence) Ms. Bowmer (DOB 2/29/56) is charged in connection with the June 9, 2007 shooting death of William Jones in the 400 block of South 20th Street. A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, September 24, Division 11, at 3:30 P.M. Katherine Kingren is the prosecutor. 2. Maurice O. Flippins (DOB 10/28/74) / Tamathia L. Mitchell (DOB 11/11/66) - 06CR0624 & 06CR0437. (BOTH: Complicity to Murder, Complicity to Robbery 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence; FLIPPINS: Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon [2 Counts], Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree; MITCHELL: Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree) The defendants are charged in connection with the January 22, 2006 shooting death of Alphonso Miller in the 1700 block of Bonnyville Blvd. A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, September 26, Division 9, at 8:30 A.M. Ryane Conroy is the prosecutor. 3. Kevin M. Lee – 07CR2580. (Murder, Robbery 1st Degree, Burglary 1st Degree, Assault 1st Degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree [3 Counts], Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree) Mr. Lee (DOB 11/18/84) is charged in connection with the January 19, 2007 shooting death of Gerardo Morales Sanchez at an apartment on Patrick Henry Road off of National Turnpike. A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, September 26, Division 3, at 9:00 A.M. Ryane Conroy is the prosecutor. 4. Michael D. Stewart – 07CR0863. (Murder, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Intoxicants) Mr. Stewart (DOB 7/25/83) is charged in connection with the November 17, 2006 wreck on Shelbyville Road at Beckley Station Road which resulted in the death of Andrew Wagner, who was a passenger in the car. A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, September 26, Division 1, at 10:00 A.M. Ruth Lerner is the prosecutor. 5. Cory M. Gibson – 07CR1287. (Murder, Sodomy 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence) Mr. Gibson (DOB 2/25/86) is charged in connection with the April 5, 2007 strangulation death of ZoAnn McCampbell, whose body was found in a parking lot in the area of Manslick Road and Crums Lane. A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, September 28, Division 4, at 9:30 A.M. David Lewis is the prosecutor. 6. John D. Brown – 07CR0852. (Murder, Assault 1st Degree) Mr. Brown (DOB 12/10/85) is charged in connection with the May 7, 2005 shooting death of Van Davis, Jr. and the shooting of another victim in the 1200 block of Broadway. A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, September 28, Division 11, at 9:30 A.M. Mark Baker is the prosecutor. 7. Jason R. Johnson – 07CR0802. (Murder) Mr. Johnson (DOB 3/10/83) is charged in connection with the February 17, 2007 shooting death of Marlon Brooks in the 1200 block of West Hill Street in the Parkway Place housing complex. A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, September 28, Division 6, at 9:45 A.M. Kristi Gray is the prosecutor.
TRIAL
1. Donovan B. Mimms – 06CR3731. (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of a Handgun by a Minor) Mr. Mimms (DOB 9/27/89) is charged in connection with the August 24, 2006 shooting death of Charles Smith near 28th Street and Gaulbert Avenue. A Trial is tentatively scheduled for Monday, September 24, Division 3, at 1:00 P.M. Khalid Kahloon is the prosecutor. 2. Claudette McCracken – 07CR1455. (Perjury 1st Degree, Tampering with Public Records, Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd Degree, Official Misconduct 1st Degree) Ms. McCracken (DOB 5/2/59), a former Louisville Metro Police Officer, is charged in connection with an incident occurring in May 2006 involving the arrest of a women that worked at a laundry in the 5700 block of Preston Highway. A Trial is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, September 25, Division 9, at 9:30 A.M. Todd Lewis is the prosecutor. 3. Thomas Sewastynowicz – 06CR1937. (Murder) Mr. Sewastynowicz (DOB 1/16/57) is charged in connection with the March 31, 2006 dragging death of Anthony Graham whose body was found at 13th and Rowan streets. A Trial is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, September 25, Division 13, at 9:30 A.M. Scott Davis is the prosecutor.
SENTENCING
1. Paul Andrew Wendelgast – 05CR2902. Mr. Wendelgast (DOB 12/3/61) pleaded guilty to Manslaughter 2nd Degree and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon in connection with the August 2, 2005 shooting death of Timothy Tilford at St. Catherine and Shelby streets. Sentencing is scheduled for Thursday, September 27, Division 10, at 9:45 A.M. Todd Lewis is the prosecutor. 2. Charles Lamar Johnson – 04CR3220, 05CR0654 & 06CR0291. Mr. Johnson (DOB 9/10/63) was found guilty of Rape 1st Degree [9 Counts], Sodomy 1st Degree [4 Counts], Sexual Abuse 1st Degree, Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration and Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree in connection with the abuse of several female victims. Sentencing is scheduled for Friday, September 28, Division 8, at 8:30 A.M. Dorislee Gilbert is the prosecutor.
