ARRAIGNMENTS

 

  1. Dante Pardue (DOB 10/21/91) / Troy Cole (DOB 2/8/88) / Amy Merrick (DOB 6/18/84) / Sharon Robinson (DOB 10/25/86) – 07CR2771.  (PARDUE: Murder, Robbery 1st Degree, Burglary 1st Degree; COLE: Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, Illegal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; MERRICK & ROBINSON: Illegal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Illegal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia)  The defendants are charged in connection with a July 1, 2007 robbery in the 4500 block of Beechbrook Road in Newburg which resulted in the shooting death of Jordan Adams.  Arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday, September 4, Division 1, at 8:30 A.M.  Khalid Kahloon is the prosecutor.

 

  1. James Quisenberry, Jr. (DOB 2/20/81) / Kenneth Williams (DOB 4/1/85) – 07CR2791.  (Murder, Attempted Murder, Robbery 1st Degree, Assault 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon)  The defendants are charged in connection with the May 18, 2006 shooting death of Earon Harper and the shooting injury of then 2 year old Erica Hughes in the 1700 block of Wilson Ave.  Arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday, September 4, Division 2, at 9:00 A.M.  Jon Heck is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Rachel Bowerman (DOB 1/9/78) / Shaconda Daniel (DOB12/21/79) / Gail McWhorter (DOB 4/11/45) / Tonita Thompson (DOB 9/19/73) – 07CR2793.  (BOWERMAN: Manslaughter 2nd Degree, Wanton Abuse of an Adult; McWHORTER: Perjury 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Reckless Abuse of an Adult; DANIEL & THOMPSON: Perjury 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  The defendants are charged in connection with the June 25, 2006 injury death of Lois Bright and subsequent Grand Jury investigation.  Ms. Bright was a patient at Four Courts Senior Center in Jefferson County.  Arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday, September 4, Division 2, at 9:00 A.M.  Todd Lewis is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Triva Hogan – 07CR2784.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Ms. Hogan (DOB 7/31/71) is charged in connection with the August 18, 2007 stabbing death of Willie James Sweet in the 600 block of South 34th Street.  Arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday, September 4, Division 6, at 11:00 A.M.  Frank Dahl is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Andrew Cochran (DOB 9/27/80) / Damon Talbert (DOB 8/29/83) – 07CR2782.  (Murder, Robbery 1st Degree, Burglary 1st Degree)  The defendants are charged in connection with the August 19, 2007 shooting death of Jamar Payne in an apartment in the De Soto Terrace housing complex.  Arraignment has already occurred.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, October 8, Division 10, at 9:00 A.M.  Tom Van De Rostyne is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Curtis J. Stafford – 07CR2767.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Stafford (DOB 9/7/86) is charged in connection with the August 18, 2007 shooting death of Bruce Hanserd in the 1000 block of Esquire Alley.  Arraignment has already occurred.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, October 29, Division 1 at 2:00 P.M.  Jennifer Wilcox is the prosecutor.

 

 

HEARING

 

  1. Norman G. Smith – 05CR2324.  (Murder)  Mr. Smith (DOB 5/4/85) is charged in connection with the July 28, 2005 shooting death of Rayshon Myers in the 300 block of North 38th Street.  A Competency Hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, September 5, Division 9, at 8:30 A.M.  Ryane Conroy is the prosecutor.

 

  1. William O. Ayers – 06CR1930 & 07CR2525.  (Perjury 1st Degree [2 Counts], Forgery 2nd Degree [3 Counts], Tampering with Public Records [3 Counts], Acting as a Bail Bondsman)  Mr. Ayers (DOB 5/17/47), an attorney, is charged in connection with the posting of bond for clients.  A Hearing is scheduled for Thursday, September 6, Division 9, at 9:00 A.M.  Tom Van De Rostyne is the prosecutor.

PRE - TRIAL CONFERENCE

 

1.      Semonin T. Moorman – 07CR2576.  (Murder)  Ms. Moorman (DOB 9/30/81) is charged in connection with the July 28, 2007 stabbing death of Patricia Shoulders in the 4100 block of Hazelwood Avenue.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, September 4, Division 7, at 8:30 A.M.  Artie McLaughlin is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Andreas Coleman (DOB 6/29/83) / Antonio D. Hawkins (DOB 2/22/85) – 07CR0106.  (Murder)  The defendants are charged in connection with the December 18, 2006 shooting death of Antonio Thompson at an apartment complex in the 200 block of Trafalgar Square.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, September 5, Division 8, at 9:15 A.M.  Ryane Conroy is the prosecutor.

 

3.      Blaine D. Williams – 07CR0335.  (Manslaughter 2nd Degree)  Mr. Williams (DOB 9/9/90) is charged in connection with the November 19, 2006 shooting death of Brad Corcoran in the 2600 block of West Jefferson Street.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, September 5, Division 10, at 3:00 P.M.  Scott Davis is the prosecutor.

 

4.      Terribo Kohn – 06CR0742.  (Murder)  Mr. Kohn (DOB 12/3/58) is charged in connection with the February 27, 2006 beating death of Horace Transon at a boarding house in the 3700 block of West Broadway Street.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Thursday, September 6, Division 5, at 11:00 A.M.  Kristi Gray is the prosecutor.

 

5.      Marcus Deshon Fresh – 07CR0577.  (Murder, Retaliating Against a Participant in the Legal Process)  Mr. Fresh (DOB 9/6/84) is charged in connection with the February 1, 2007 shooting death of Edrisha Reed on Tuscarora Way in the Iroquois Homes housing complex.  A Pre-Trial Hearing is scheduled for Friday, September 7, Division 4, at 8:30 A.M.  Christie Foster is the prosecutor.

 

6.      Maurice O. Flippins (DOB 10/28/74) / Tamathia L. Mitchell (DOB 11/11/66) - 06CR0624 & 06CR0437.  (BOTH: Complicity to Murder, Complicity to Robbery 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence; FLIPPINS: Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon [2 Counts], Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree; MITCHELL: Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree)  The defendants are charged in connection with the January 22, 2006 shooting death of Alphonso Miller in the 1700 block of Bonnyville Blvd.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, September 7, Division 9, at 8:30 A.M.  Ryane Conroy is the prosecutor.

 

7.      Jesse Montez Galloway (DOB 5/28/86) / Corey D. Yelder (DOB 11/29/87) / Steven Lamont Smith (DOB 8/7/88) – 07CR0104 & 07CR0310.  (Murder [2 Counts], Robbery 1st Degree [2 Counts], Burglary 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  The defendants are charged in connection with the July 29, 2006 shooting deaths of Lydell Perks and Aaron Pike at a home in the 2200 block of Thurman Drive.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, September 7, Division 1, at 10:00 A.M.  Scott Davis is the prosecutor.

 

8.      Adam Anthony Barker – 07CR0691.  (Murder, Criminal Attempted Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence [2 Counts], Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree)  Mr. Barker (DOB 11/13/81) is charged in connection with the October 12, 2003 shooting death of Zachary Scarpellini in the 1200 block of Cherokee Road at Longest Road.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, September 7, Division 6, at 11:00 A.M.  Tom Van De Rostyne is the prosecutor.

 

 

SENTENCING

 

1.      John M. Barnes – 06CR1441.  Mr. Barnes (DOB 5/22/56) pleaded guilty to Assault, Wanton Endangerment [3 Counts] and Tampering with Physical Evidence in connection with the March 18, 2006 shooting of a female victim at a liquor store on Crums Lane after an argument about the amount of change owed for a purchase.  Sentencing is scheduled for Friday, September 7, Division 2, at 8:30 A.M.  Ginny Ansert is the prosecutor.
