HEARING

 

  1. Gail Lynn Coontz – 08CR1574.  (Murder [2 Counts], Tampering with Physical Evidence, Terroristic Threatening, Unlawful Imprisonment 1st Degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree)  Ms. Coontz (DOB 7/8/70) is charged in connection with the March 27, 2008 shooting death of her two children, Greg and Nikki, whose bodies were found in her home on Settle Boulevard in Okolona.  She is also charged in connection with an incident at the University of Louisville health services counseling center.  A Status Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, Division 5, at 9:00 A.M.  Dorislee Gilbert is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Dashad Raleek Eubanks (DOB 7/4/89) /  Marilyn Amanda McCloud (DOB 1/23/88) /  Lajuan Lamont Vaughn (DOB 2/26/90) - 08CR1443.  (Murder, Criminal Attempted Murder [2 Counts], Robbery 1st Degree [3 Counts], Assault 1st Degree [2 Counts])  The defendants are charged in connection with the April 17, 2008 shooting death of Jermaine Bibb near Boone Square Park in Portland.  Two other victims were wounded in the incident.  A Status Hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, Division 11, at 9:00 A.M.  Lisa Cartier Giroux is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Anthony F. Bruce – 09CR0750.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Bruce (DOB 9/15/90) is charged in connection with the December, 28, 2008 shooting death of Michael Foster at a Marathon gas station on West Broadway.  A Competency Hearing is scheduled for Thursday, August 27, Division 13, at 9:00 A.M.  Ryane Conroy is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Glenda L. Graves – 09CR0006.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Ms. Graves (DOB 8/7/54) is charged in connection with the December 28, 2008 stabbing death of Norman Williams who was found in a Beecher Terrace apartment in the 400 block of South 12th Street.  A Suppression Hearing is scheduled for Friday, August 28, Division 13, at 11:00 A.M.  Michelle Rudovich is the prosecutor.

 

 

PRE - TRIAL CONFERENCE

 

1.      Henry J. Crawford, Jr. – 07CR0418.  (Kidnapping, Rape 1st Degree, Sodomy 1st Degree, Assault 1st Degree, Robbery 1st Degree, Burglary 1st Degree, Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree)  Mr. Crawford (DOB 11/6/64) is charged in connection with an October 16, 1990 robbery and sexual attack occurring on Jane Street and involving a female victim.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, Division 6, at 8:45 A.M.  Ryane Conroy is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Kalveron D. Jones – 09CR2054.  (Murder)  Mr. Jones (DOB 6/9/90) is charged in connection with the September 24, 2007 death of Mark Smith.  Mr. Smith was a pedestrian struck by a car near 22nd Street and Standard Avenue.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Thursday, August 27, Division 4, at 8:45 A.M.  Chris Hutchison is the prosecutor.

 

3.      Robert H. Thomas – 09CR1539.  (Murder, Attempted Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Thomas (DOB 12/15/49) is charged in connection with the May 19, 2009 stabbing death of Rosemary Stinson in an alley in the 1800 block of Duncan Street.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, August 28, Division 3, at 9:00 A.M.  Ryane Conroy is the prosecutor.

 

4.      Adam Anthony Barker – 07CR0691.  (Murder, Criminal Attempted Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence [2 Counts], Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree)  Mr. Barker (DOB 11/13/81) is charged in connection with the October 12, 2003 shooting death of Zachary Scarpellini in the 1200 block of Cherokee Road at Longest Road.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, August 28, Division 6, at 9:00 A.M.  Tom Van De Rostyne is the prosecutor.

 

5.      Todd M. Brown (DOB 5/13/92) / Leslye M. Harbin (DOB 2/8/92) / Howard M. Williams, Jr. (DOB 12/27/90) - 08CR1045.  (Murder, Assault 1st Degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree)  The defendants are charged in connection with the February 15, 2008 shooting death of Branden Trumbo in a parking lot at 22nd Street and Broadway.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, August 28, Division 5, at 3:00 P.M.  Michelle Rudovich is the prosecutor.

 

 

TRIAL

 

1.      James T. Wood, Jr. (DOB 7/18/84) / Jarrell T. Wood (DOB 9/6/88) – 09CR0496.  (Murder, Kidnapping, Assault 2nd Degree, Burglary 1st Degree; JAMES: Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree)  The defendants are charged in connection with a home invasion in the 1700 block of West Oak Street which resulted in the shooting death of James T. Wood, Sr.  A Trial is tentatively scheduled for Monday, August 24, Division 8, at 9:30 A.M.  Frank Dahl is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Davon S. Tooley – 06CR0598 & 07CR0521.  (Murder, Attempted Murder, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree [5 Counts], Tampering with Physical Evidence [2 Counts])  Mr. Tooley (DOB 4/22/86) is charged in connection with the January 4, 2006 shooting death of Jerrell Vitt outside an apartment complex on Permerland Drive.  A Trial is tentatively scheduled for Monday, August 24, Division 2, at 9:45 A.M.  Erin White is the prosecutor.

 

 

SENTENCING

 

1.      Mark A. Berry, Jr. – 08CR1559.  Mr. Berry (DOB 9/8/90) pleaded guilty to Manslaughter 2nd Degegree, Robbery 2nd Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence in connection with the January 9, 2008 shooting death of Sean Wilson who was found in a car in a parking lot in the 900 block of Place Bleu.  Sentencing is scheduled for Thursday, August 27, Division 3, at 9:15 A.M.  Kristi Gray is the prosecutor.
