ARRAIGNMENTS

 

  1. Semonin T. Moorman – 07CR2576.  (Murder)  Ms. Moorman (DOB 9/30/81) is charged in connection with the July 28, 2007 stabbing death of Patricia Shoulders in the 4100 block of Hazelwood Avenue.  Arraignment has already occurred.  A Bond Hearing is scheduled for Friday, August 17, Division 7, at 9:00 A.M.  Artie McLaughlin is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Kevin M. Lee – 07CR2580.  (Murder, Robbery 1st Degree, Burglary 1st Degree, Assault 1st Degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree [3 Counts], Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree)  Mr. Lee (DOB 11/18/84) is charged in connection with the January 19, 2007 shooting death of Gerardo Morales Sanchez at an apartment on Patrick Henry Road off of National Turnpike.  Arraignment is scheduled for Monday, August 13, Division 3, at 9:30 A.M.  Ryane Conroy is the prosecutor.

 

 

PRE - TRIAL CONFERENCE

 

1.      Adam Anthony Barker – 07CR0691.  (Murder, Criminal Attempted Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence [2 Counts], Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree)  Mr. Barker (DOB 11/13/81) is charged in connection with the October 12, 2003 shooting death of Zachary Scarpellini in the 1200 block of Cherokee Road at Longest Road.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, August 13, Division 6, at 9:00 A.M.  Tom Van De Rostyne is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Brian Daviston – 07CR1690.  (Murder [2 Counts], Assault 1st Degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree [6 Counts], Criminal Mischief 1st Degree, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Intoxicants)  Mr. Daviston (DOB 4/15/79) is charged in connection with the May 6, 2007 crash on Interstate 64 near the 9th Street exit which resulted in the death of Gary and Terry Crenshaw and injured another female passenger in the Crenshaws’ car.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, August 14, Division 4, at 9:00 A.M.  Ginny Ansert is the prosecutor.

 

3.      Francois L. Cunningham – 05CR3713.  (Murder [2 Counts], Arson 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree)  Mr. Cunningham (DOB 8/6/77) is charged in connection with the October 12, 2005 shooting deaths of Trevor Alexander and Tykea Sanderson in Fern Creek Park.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, August 14, Division 10, at 9:00 A.M.  Ryane Conroy is the prosecutor.

 

4.      Charles W. Smith – 07CR1504.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Smith (DOB 8/9/46) is charged in connection with the April 21, 2007 shooting death of Keith Lamont Smith at the Beecher Terrace housing complex in the 400 block of South 12th Street.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, August 15, Division 11, at 9:30 A.M.  Jonathan Heck is the prosecutor.

 

5.      Jesse Montez Galloway (DOB 5/28/86) / Corey D. Yelder (DOB 11/29/87) / Steven Lamont Smith (DOB 8/7/88) – 07CR0104 & 07CR0310.  (Murder [2 Counts], Robbery 1st Degree [2 Counts], Burglary 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  The defendants are charged in connection with the July 29, 2006 shooting deaths of Lydell Perks and Aaron Pike at a home in the 2200 block of Thurman Drive.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Thursday, August 16, Division 1, at 10:00 A.M.  Scott Davis is the prosecutor.

 

6.      David Carl Ola – 07CR0105.  (Murder)  Mr. Ola (DOB 3/1/66) is charged in connection with the December 30, 2006 shooting death of Russell Ola at a house on Granger Road in the Fairdale community.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, August 17, Division 5, at 11:00 A.M.  Katherine Kingren is the prosecutor.

 

7.      Nelson T. Little – 06CR3651.  (Murder)  Mr. Little (DOB 12/15/83) is charged in connection with the November 7, 2006 beating death of Linda Hamill.  The incident took place at an apartment on Beuchel Bank Road.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, August 17, Division 3, at 11:15 A.M.  Christie Foster is the prosecutor.

 

 

TRIAL

 

1.      Demetrius L. Davis (DOB 5/30/76) / Christopher L. Davis (DOB 2/9/83) – 06CR1926.  (Criminal Attempted Murder, Assault 1st Degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Retaliating Against a Participant in the Legal Process, Tampering with a Witness; D. DAVIS: Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree)  The defendants are charged in connection with the December 18, 2004 shooting of Sarah Cherry.  A Trial is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, August 14, Division 9, at 9:30 A.M.  Tom Van De Rostyne is the prosecutor.

 

2.      William O. Ayers – 06CR1930.  (Perjury 1st Degree, Forgery 2nd Degree [3 Counts], Tampering with Public Records [3 Counts])  Mr. Ayers (DOB 5/17/47), an attorney, is charged in connection with the posting of a bond in the capital murder case of Demetrius “Chico” Davis.  A Trial is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, August 14, Division 9, at 9:30 A.M.  Tom Van De Rostyne is the prosecutor.

 

 

SENTENCING

 

1.      Joseph Wayne Allen – 04CR1360.  Mr. Allen (DOB 1/12/64) was found guilty of Rape 1st Degree [3 Counts], Sodomy 1st Degree, Kidnapping, Burglary 1st Degree, Sexual Abuse 1st Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence in connection with the 1996 rape of a 13 year old girl in southwestern Jefferson County.  Sentencing is scheduled for Monday, August 13, Division 6, at 10:00 A.M.  Cheryl Robinson is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Judith A. Golliher – 06CR3376.  Ms. Golliher (DOB 8/8/52) pleaded guilty to Theft by Unlawful Taking >$300 [8 Counts] in connection with the taking of funds from accounts of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).  Sentencing is scheduled for Thursday, August 16, Division 3, at 9:00 A.M.  Todd Lewis is the prosecutor.

 

3.      Damon Lee Stuckey – 05CR2507.  Mr. Stuckey (DOB 2/24/77) was found guilty of Robbery 1st Degree [2 Counts], Assault 1st Degree, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree in connection with a June 30, 2005 robbery at 643 Cecil Ave. which resulted in the shooting of former Central High School principal, Joe McPherson.  Sentencing is scheduled for Friday, August 17, Division 7, at 9:15 A.M.  Kristi Gray is the prosecutor.
