HEARING

 

  1. Said Ali Biyad – 06CR3272.  (Murder [4 Counts], Criminal Attempted Murder, Rape 1st Degree, Assault 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence [3 Counts])  Mr. Biyad (DOB 1/1/64) is charged in connection with the October 6, 2006 stabbing deaths of his 4 children – Goshany, Khadija, Fatuma and Sidi Ali, ages 2 to 8 – at an apartment in Iroquois Homes.  A Competency Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, August 7, Division 2, at 9:00 A.M.  Carol Cobb is the prosecutor.

PRE - TRIAL CONFERENCE

 

1.      Juan Kessea Berry – 07CR0558.  (Sodomy 1st Degree, Sexual Abuse 1st Degree)  Mr. Berry (DOB 11/10/71) is charged in connection with the January 30, 2007 abuse of a 14 year old male Meyzeek Middle School student as the victim exited a bus at the intersection of Preston and Broadway streets.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, August 7, Division 7, at 8:30 A.M.  Dorislee Gilbert is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Lloyd Hammond – 06CR2087.  (Murder [2 Counts], Burglary 1st Degree, Kidnapping)  Mr. Hammond (DOB 10/20/85) is charged in connection with the June 3, 2006 shooting death of William Sawyers in the 2000 block of West Market Street and the June 17, 2006 shooting death of Kerry Williams in the 700 block of South 23rd Street.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, August 7, Division 7, at 8:45 A.M.  Tom Van De Rostyne is the prosecutor.

 

3.      George R. Nix, Jr. – 07CR1521.  (Rape 2nd Degree [7 Counts], Sodomy 2nd Degree [2 Counts], Sexual Abuse 2nd Degree [3 Counts], Unlawful Transaction with a Minor 1st Degree)  Mr. Nix (DOB 3/12/28) is charged in connection with the abuse of a 12 year old female victim.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, August 7, Division 5, at 10:30 A.M.  Dorislee Gilbert is the prosecutor.

 

4.      Blaine D. Williams – 07CR0335.  (Manslaughter 2nd Degree)  Mr. Williams (DOB 9/9/90) is charged in connection with the November 19, 2006 shooting death of Brad Corcoran in the 2600 block of West Jefferson Street.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, August 7, Division 10, at 1:00 P.M.  Scott Davis is the prosecutor.

 

5.      Ricardo D. Taylor – 06CR1506.  (Criminal Attempted Murder [2 Counts], Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree [4 Counts], Fleeing or Evading Police, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Taylor (DOB 11/18/87) is charged in connection with the April 19, 2006 incident involving an armed standoff with Metro Police in the Sheppard Square housing complex.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, August 7, Division 6, at 1:00 P.M.  John Balliet is the prosecutor.
