HEARING

 

  1. Robert Keith Thornton – 08CR3866.  (Robbery 1st Degree [47 Counts], Violation of a Protective Order, Fleeing or Evading Police)  Mr. Thornton (DOB 5/26/65) is charged in connection with numerous robberies in Jefferson County dating back to 2001 as well as a December 23, 2008 police chase following the robbery of the Wendy’s at 4041 Taylorsville Rd.  A Status Hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, Division 4, at 9:15 A.M.  Jennifer Wilcox is the prosecutor.

 

 

PRE - TRIAL CONFERENCE

 

1.      Michael A. Elery – 09CR0625.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Violation of a Protective Order)  Mr. Elery (DOB 3/29/79) is charged in connection with the February, 20, 2009 stabbing death of Dana McDonald at an apartment in the 3300 block of Warwickshire Court.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, July 6, Division 10, at 8:30 A.M.  Michelle Rudovich is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Edward E. White – 09CR1626.  (Murder, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Persistant Felony Offender 1st Degree)  Mr. White (DOB 9/16/84) is charged in connection with the May 16, 2009 shooting death of Ramone Shirley in a parking lot in the Iroquois Homes housing complex.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, July 6, Division 12, at 9:45 A.M.  Evan Spalding is the prosecutor.

 

3.      Charles Bonner (DOB 1/31/85) / Anthony Hill (DOB 6/4/86) / Damien Holbrook (DOB 12/21/81) – 08CR1880.  (Murder)  The defendants are charged in connection with the August 31, 2007 shooting death of Robert Robinson in the parking lot of the White Castle at Seventh Street and Broadway.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, July 6, Division 4, at 11:30 A.M.  Artie McLaughlin is the prosecutor.

 

4.      Robert H. Thomas – 09CR1539.  (Murder, Attempted Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Thomas (DOB 12/15/49) is charged in connection with the May 19, 2009 stabbing death of Rosemary Stinson in an alley in the 1800 block of Duncan Street.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, Division 3, at 10:15 A.M.  Ryane Conroy is the prosecutor.

 

 

TRIAL

 

1.      Aaron M. Nash – 08CR2030.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Nash (DOB 11/30/90) is charged in connection with the May 1, 2008 shooting death of Saige Hartman at the Red Oak Apartments in the 8500 block of Standing Oak Drive off Dixie Highway.  A Trial is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, July 7, Division 11, at 10:00 A.M.  Nick Neumann is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Dashad Raleek Eubanks (DOB 7/4/89) /  Marilyn Amanda McCloud (DOB 1/23/88) /  Lajuan Lamont Vaughn (DOB 2/26/90) - 08CR1443.  (Murder, Criminal Attempted Murder [2 Counts], Robbery 1st Degree [3 Counts], Assault 1st Degree [2 Counts])  The defendants are charged in connection with the April 17, 2008 shooting death of Jermaine Bibb near Boone Square Park in Portland.  Two other victims were wounded in the incident.  A Trial is tentatively scheduled for Friday, July 10, Division 11, at 1:00 P.M.  Lisa Cartier Giroux is the prosecutor.

 

 

SENTENCING

 

1.      James Simpson – 08CR1785.  (Murder)  Mr. Simpson (DOB 10/1/68) pleaded guilty to Reckless Homicide in connection with the September 10, 2007 shooting death of his wife, Katherine Simpson, at their home in Middletown.  Sentencing is scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, Division 7, at 9:15 A.M.  Nick Neumann is the prosecutor.
