ARRAIGNMENTS

 

  1. Angela Y. Wheeler – 08CR1967.  (Murder, Illegal Possession of a Controlled Substance)  Ms. Wheeler (DOB 11/5/63) is charged in connection with the June 21, 2008 stabbing death of Donald Davis at a home in the 1800 block of Beech Street.  Arraignment is scheduled for Monday, June 30, Division 7, at 11:30 A.M.  Jennifer Wilcox is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Randy Bowman (DOB 9/12/53) / Nicholas Thornton (DOB 12/18/80) – 08CR1965.  (Murder, BOWMAN: Tampering with Physical Evidence)  The defendants are charged in connection with the June 16, 2008 stabbing death of Deann Elliott at Dismas Charities located at 124 W. Oak St.  Arraignment is scheduled for Monday, June 30, Division 9, at 1:30 P.M.  Nick Neumann is the prosecutor.

 

 

HEARING

 

  1. Princess Carver – 05CR1922.  (Assault 1st Degree, Criminal Abuse 1st Degree [4 Counts])  Ms. Carver (DOB 7/15/82) was found guilty of Assault 4th Degree and Criminal Abuse 3rd Degree in connection with injuries sustained to her 7 month old son.  She was sentenced to 12 months in jail.  An Appeal Bond Hearing is scheduled for Monday, June 30, Division 3, at 9:30 A.M.  Carol Cobb is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Brenda Carpenter (DOB 12/20/69) / Ashley Dardar (DOB 1/15/88) / Kenneth Jarboe (DOB 10/7/86) / Perry Jarboe (DOB 8/26/65) / Walter Jarboe (DOB 4/19/56) – 08CR1878.  (Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Criminal Syndication, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Transaction with a Minor, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Precursor, Controlled Substance Endangerment to a Child, Illegal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia)  The defendants are charged in connection with the manufacturing of methamphetamine at a house on Tierney Avenue and the dumping of meth labs along Moorman Road.  A Bond Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, July 1, Division 13, at 11:00 A.M.  Mitchel Denham is the prosecutor.

 

 

PRE - TRIAL CONFERENCE

 

1.      Isiah T. Fugett – 04CR0391.  (Murder [2 Counts], Robbery 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Fugett (DOB 7/22/81) is charged in connection with the January 26, 2004 shooting deaths of Eric Ray and Robert Whitney Robbins in the parking lot of the Clarion Hotel at 101 E. Jefferson St.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, June 30, Division 3, at 11:15 A.M.  Carol Cobb is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Emily A. Hall – 07CR3962.  (Murder, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Criminal Mischief 1st Degree, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Intoxicants)  Ms. Hall (DOB 6/9/87) is charged in connection with the November 29, 2007 wreck on the Watterson Expressway which resulted in the death of Abram Reimer.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, June 30, Division 1, at 2:00 P.M.  Kristi Gray is the prosecutor.

 

3.      Jesse Montez Galloway (DOB 5/28/86) / Corey D. Yelder (DOB 11/29/87) / Steven Lamont Smith (DOB 8/7/88) – 07CR0104 & 07CR0310.  (Murder [2 Counts], Robbery 1st Degree [2 Counts], Burglary 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  The defendants are charged in connection with the July 29, 2006 shooting deaths of Lydell Perks and Aaron Pike at a home in the 2200 block of Thurman Drive.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, June 30, Division 1, at 2:30 P.M.  Scott Davis is the prosecutor.

 

4.      Mark A. Berry, Jr. – 08CR1559.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Robbery 1st Degree)  Mr. Berry (DOB 9/8/90) is charged in connection with the January 9, 2008 shooting death of Sean Wilson who was found in a car in a parking lot in the 900 block of Place Bleu.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, July 2, Division 3, at 9:30 A.M.  Cheryl Robinson is the prosecutor.

 

5.      Chad Neal Rippy – 07CR3110.  (Murder, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Intoxicants, No Motorcycle Operators License)  Mr. Rippy (DOB 6/11/71) is charged in connection with the August 3, 2007 motorcycle crash on Cane Run Road which resulted in the death of Carrie Ann Orr.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, July 2, Division 6, at 10:15 A.M.  Kristi Gray is the prosecutor.

 

 

SENTENCING

 

1.      Lamont Roberts (DOB 4/16/63) – 06CR4034.  Mr. Roberts (DOB 4/16/63) was found guilty of Manslaughter 2nd Degree and Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs in connection with the October 21, 2006 wreck in the 2600 block of Dixie Highway which resulted in the death of Jessica McCawley.  Sentencing is scheduled for Wednesday, July 2, Division 6, at 9:30 A.M.  Chris Hutchison is the prosecutor.
