HEARING

 

  1. Quitten O. McCawley – 09CR1769.  (Murder, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree [5 Counts])  Mr. McCawley (DOB 2/12/90) is charged in connection with the June 12, 2009 shooting death of William Butler at a residence in the 10100 block of Nanka Road.  A Bond Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30, Division 4, at 8:45 A.M.  Cristal Fox is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Mark A. Berry, Jr. – 08CR1559.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Robbery 1st Degree)  Mr. Berry (DOB 9/8/90) is charged in connection with the January 9, 2008 shooting death of Sean Wilson who was found in a car in a parking lot in the 900 block of Place Bleu.  A Suppression Hearing is scheduled for Thursday, July 2, Division 3, at 8:30 A.M.  Kristi Gray is the prosecutor.

 

 

PRE - TRIAL CONFERENCE

 

1.      Martell D. Bennett – 08CR1148.  (Murder, Robbery 1st Degree, Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, Intimidating a Participant in the Legal Process, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Bennett (DOB 1/1/83) is charged in connection with the November 1, 2007 shooting death of Trey Weathers in the front yard of a home in the 800 block of 40th Street.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, June 29, Division 13, at 9:30 A.M.  Nick Neuman is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Kenyon M. Pollock – 07CR3666.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Pollock (DOB 5/8/72) is charged in connection with the November 2, 2007 shooting death of Depietro Bell, who was found near the intersection of Ellison and Julia avenues.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30, Division 9, at 9:15 A.M.  Jason Butler is the prosecutor.

 

3.      Charles D. Patterson – 09CR0061.  (Murder, Robbery 1st Degree, Burglary 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree)  Mr. Patterson (DOB 6/23/81) is charged in connection with the October 2005 stabbing death of Floyd Robey, III at his home on Kenhurst Drive.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30, Division 10, at 9:45 A.M.  Jason Butler is the prosecutor.

 

4.      Allen E. Burchett – 08CR3067.  (Murder)  Mr. Burchett (DOB 8/24/49) is charged in connection with the October 6, 2008 stabbing death of Melissa Burchett at an apartment in the 6600 block of Strawberry Lane.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30, Division 4, at 1:30 P.M.  John Balliet is the prosecutor.

 

5.      Ahmad Rashad Gill – 09CR0819.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Gill (DOB 9/29/79) is charged in connection with the December 13, 2008 shooting death of Rahman Woods at a club at 32nd and Hale streets.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, July 1, Division 2, at 9:00 A.M.  Thomas Coffey is the prosecutor.

 

6.      Crystal Lee Gordon (DOB 12/15/79) / Reginald Grider (DOB 10/23/91) / Damon Phelps (DOB 10/9/92)– 08CR2816 & 08CR3131.  (ALL: Murder, Robbery 1st Degree; GORDON: Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree; GRIDER: Possession of a Handgun by a Minor)  The defendants are charged in connection with the September 12, 2008 shooting death of Cesario Gomez at the Yorktown Apartments in the 7400 block of Garrison Road.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, July 1, Division 12, at 9:00 A.M.  Leland Hulbert and Michelle Rudovich are the prosecutors.

 

7.      Christopher L. Gordon – 09CR1028.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Gordon (DOB 9/10/89) is charged in connection with the March 24, 2009 shooting death of Norman Beals, Jr. at 23rd and Kentucky streets.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Thursday, July 2, Division 9, at 8:30 A.M.  Chris Hutchison is the prosecutor.

 

 

TRIAL

 

1.      Geno Anthony Robbins – 08CR3742.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Robbins (DOB 9/5/86) is charged in connection with the December 15, 2008 shooting death of Theodore Weathers who was found in an alley near 26th and Rowan streets.  A Trial is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, June 30, Division 2, at 9:45 A.M.  Angela Johnson is the prosecutor.
