ARRAIGNMENTS

 

  1. Martha Bowmer – 07CR2069.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Ms. Bowmer (DOB 2/29/56) is charged in connection with the June 9, 2007 shooting death of William Jones in the 400 block of South 20th Street.  Arraignment has already occurred.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, July 3, Division 11, at 9:30 A.M.  Katherine Kingren is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Kenneth L. Roberson – 07CR2092.  (Murder, Illegal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree)  Mr. Roberson (DOB 6/26/61) is charged in connection with the June 8, 2007 death of Keith Mario Reed, Jr. at 24th and Madison streets.  Arraignment has already occurred.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, July 23, Division 7, at 9:30 A.M.  Artie McLaughlin is the prosecutor.

 

 

HEARING

 

  1. Michael E. Chapman – 05CR3689.  (Robbery 1st Degree [7 Counts], Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree)  Mr. Chapman (DOB 1/23/73) is charged in connection with the robbery of several banks in the Louisville area.  A Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, June 26, Division 9, at 11:30 A.M.  John Balliet is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Jeffrey E. Steitz – 07CR0277.  (Rape 2nd Degree, Sodomy 2nd Degree, Burglary 2nd Degree, Criminal Attempted Sodomy 3rd Degree, Use of a Minor in a Sexual Performance, Possession of Matter Portraying Minor in a Sexual Performance)  Mr. Steitz (DOB 6/30/64) is charged in connection with incidents involving a 12 year old female victim and another incident involving a 14 year old female victim.  A Competency Hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, June 27, Division 11, at 1:00 P.M.  Jonathan Heck is the prosecutor.

 

  1. James B. Skaggs – 06CR3125.  (Sodomy 3rd Degree [3 Counts])  Mr. Skaggs (DOB 12/4/46), a former teacher at West Point Independent School, is charged in connection with the abuse of a 13 year old female victim in 1977 and 1978.  A Hearing is scheduled for Friday, June 29, Division 13, at 2:00 P.M.  Jonathan Heck is the prosecutor.

 

 

PRE - TRIAL CONFERENCE

 

1.      Andreas Coleman (DOB 6/29/83) / Antonio D. Hawkins (DOB 2/22/85) – 07CR0106.  (Murder)  The defendants are charged in connection with the December 18, 2006 shooting death of Antonio Thompson at an apartment complex in the 200 block of Trafalgar Square.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, June 25, Division 8, at 9:15 A.M.  Ryane Conroy is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Glenn D. Odom – 04CR2521.  (Murder, Assault 2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree)  Mr. Odom (DOB 11/11/83) is charged in connection with the July 20, 2004 shooting death of Benjamin Smith in the 500 block of South 21st Street.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, June 26, Division 1, at 1:30 P.M.  Jason Butler is the prosecutor.

 

3.      Jamahll Antwan Todd – 06CR0107.  (Murder, Assault 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree)  Mr. Todd (DOB 9/9/80) is charged in connection with the December 31, 2005 shooting death of James L. Crawford at the City View Park Apartments near 11th and Chestnut streets.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, June 27, Division 2, at 8:30 A.M.  Jason Butler is the prosecutor.

 

4.      Nelson T. Little – 06CR3651.  (Murder)  Mr. Little (DOB 12/15/83) is charged in connection with the November 7, 2006 beating death of Linda Hamill.  The incident took place at an apartment on Beuchel Bank Road.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, June 27, Division 3, at 9:00 A.M.  Christie Foster is the prosecutor.

 

5.      Johnny Lee Allen (DOB 11/9/87) / James A. Clark (DOB 4/29/89) – 07CR1219.  (Murder [2 Counts], Robbery 1st Degree [2 Counts], Theft by Unlawful Taking >$300, Tampering with Physical Evidence [2 Counts])  The defendants are charged in connection with the February 2, 2007 deaths of Anthony Howze and Ashley Yennes whose bodies were found in a car in an alley off of Beecher Street.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, June 27, Division 2, at 10:30 A.M.  Scott Davis is the prosecutor.

 

6.      Lloyd Hammond – 06CR2087.  (Murder [2 Counts], Burglary 1st Degree, Kidnapping)  Mr. Hammond (DOB 10/20/85) is charged in connection with the June 3, 2006 shooting death of William Sawyers in the 2000 block of West Market Street and the June 17, 2006 shooting death of Kerry Williams in the 700 block of South 23rd Street.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Thursday, June 28, Division 7, at 8:45 A.M.  Tom Van De Rostyne is the prosecutor.

 

7.      Juan Raphael Pelegrin-Vidal - 02CR2886.  (Murder, Burglary 1st Degree)  Mr. Pelegrin-Vidal (DOB 9/15/58) is charged in connection with the December 12, 2002 beating death of Elaine Fonseca-Rodriguez on Ashland Avenue.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Thursday, June 28, Division 4, at 9:30 A.M.  Shelly Gibson is the prosecutor.

 

 

TRIAL

 

  1. Leroy Lester Calloway (DOB 3/18/67) / Bruce D. Hanserd (DOB 12/29/79) / Rodney L. Anderson (DOB 9/15/77) – 06CR3381.  (CALLOWAY & HANSERD: Murder, Fleeing or Evading Police, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Intimidating a Participant in the Legal Process, Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree; HANSERD: Trafficking in a Controlled Substance; ANDERSON: Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, Illegal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree)  The defendants are charged in connection with the October 29, 2005 shooting death of William D. Pouk in the 100 block of Kingston Drive.  A Trial is tentatively scheduled for Monday, June 25, Division 5, at 1:30 P.M.  Tom Van De Rostyne is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Damon Lee Stuckey – 05CR2507.  (Robbery 1st Degree [2 Counts], Assault 1st Degree, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree)  Mr. Stuckey (DOB 2/24/77) is charged in connection with a June 30, 2005 robbery at 643 Cecil Ave. which resulted in the shooting of former Central High School principal, Joe McPherson.  A Trial is tentatively scheduled for Monday, June 25, Division 7, at 1:30 P.M.  Kristi Gray is the prosecutor.

 

 

SENTENCING

 

1.      Marcus Edward McStoots – 05CR2759, 06CR0446 & 06CR1232.  Mr. McStoots (DOB 5/13/80) pleaded guilty to Rape 1st Degree (2 Counts), Burglary 3rd Degree (3 Counts) and Theft by Unlawful Taking (4 Counts) in connection with the rape of two female victims near the Ohio Riverwalk.  One incident occurred in October 2000 and the other in April 2003.  Sentencing is scheduled for Tuesday, June 26, Division 12, at 9:00 A.M.  Jonathan Heck is the prosecutor.
