ARRAIGNMENTS

 

  1. Edward E. White – 09CR1626.  (Murder, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Persistant Felony Offender 1st Degree)  Mr. White (DOB 9/16/84) is charged in connection with the May 16, 2009 shooting death of Ramone Shirley in a parking lot in the Iroquois Homes housing complex.  Arraignment has already occurred.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, July 6, Division 12, at 9:45 A.M.  Evan Spalding is the prosecutor.

 

  1. John E. Belden – 09CR1634.  (Murder, Assault 1st Degree [2 Counts], Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree [7 Counts], Criminal Mischief 1st Degree, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Violation of a Protective Order)  Mr. Belden (DOB 2/12/88) is charged in connection with the May 31, 2009 crash which resulted in the death of 3 year old Samyah Johnson on Blue Lick Road.  Arraignment has already occurred.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, July 13, Division 10, at 9:00 A.M.  Chris Hutchison is the prosecutor.

 

 

HEARING

 

  1. James L. Gore, Jr. – 08CR2236.  (Murder, Robbery 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of a Handgun by a Minor)  Mr. Gore (DOB 9/1/90) is charged in connection with the May 6, 2008 shooting death of Delshawn Banks at 31st and Young streets.  A Hearing is scheduled for Monday, June 16, Division 2, at 2:15 P.M.  Lisa Cartier Giroux is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Carlos Lamont Ordway – 07CR3193.  (Robbery 1st Degree, Assault 1st Degree [2 Counts], Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree)  Mr. Ordway (DOB 6/21/81) is charged in connection with the August 6, 2007 robbery of the Chase Bank in the 4000 block of Poplar Level Road.  Two bank employees were wounded during the robbery.  A Status Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, Division 2, at 9:00 A.M.  Jennifer Wilcox is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Said Ali Biyad – 06CR3272.  (Murder [4 Counts], Criminal Attempted Murder, Rape 1st Degree, Assault 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence [3 Counts])  Mr. Biyad (DOB 1/1/64) is charged in connection with the October 6, 2006 stabbing deaths of his 4 children – Goshany, Khadija, Fatuma and Sidi Ali, ages 2 to 8 – at an apartment in Iroquois Homes.  A Status Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, Division 2, at 9:30 A.M.  Christie Foster is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Anthony F. Bruce – 09CR0750.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Bruce (DOB 9/15/90) is charged in connection with the December, 28, 2008 shooting death of Michael Foster at a Marathon gas station on West Broadway.  A Competency Hearing is scheduled for Thursday, June 18, Division 13, at 8:45 A.M.  Ryane Conroy is the prosecutor.

 

 

PRE - TRIAL CONFERENCE

 

1.      William G. Seidl – 08CR2593.  (Murder)  Mr. Seidl (DOB 1/9/40) is charged in connection with the August 30, 2008 shooting death of Dorene Seidl in the 8200 block of Grandfield Way in the Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, Division 10, at 9:00 A.M.  Christie Foster is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Kevin D. Luther – 09CR0794.  (Theft by Unlawful Taking >$300 [95 Counts])  Mr. Luther (DOB 4/24/65) is charged in connection with the unlawful taking of funds from the Hyatt Regency Hotel between March 2007 and December 2008  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, Division 12, at 9:00 A.M.  Stacy Greive is the prosecutor.

 

3.      Roosevelt Gill, Jr. (DOB 5/22/88) / Gerome Sutton, II (DOB 2/3/82) – 09CR1420.  (Unlawful Access to a Computer, Abuse of Public Trust, Bribery of a Public Servant)  The defendants, former Jefferson Circuit Court employees, are charged in connection with the illegal taking of money from the court system.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Thursday, June 18, Division 4, at 9:00 A.M.  Chris Hutchison is the prosecutor.

 

4.      Brandon Scott Jones – 08CR3264.  (Murder, Robbery 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Jones (DOB 9/22/88) is charged in connection with the October 27, 2008 stabbing death of Sharon R. Jones in an apartment in the 1700 block of Belmar Drive.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Thursday, June 18, Division 12, at 9:00 A.M.  Michelle Rudovich is the prosecutor.

 

5.      Gary A. Lindsey, Jr. – 09CR0695.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Lindsey (DOB 4/1/88) is charged in connection with the January 27, 2009 shooting death of William Wagner near 28th and Main streets in the Portland neighborhood.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Thursday, June 18, Division 12, at 9:00 A.M.  Jennifer Wilcox is the prosecutor.

 

6.      Jeffrey M. Bynum – 09CR0828.  (Murder, Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Bynum (DOB 9/30/81) is charged in connection with the March 10, 2009 shooting death of James DeSpain in the 300 block of North 18th Street.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Thursday, June 18, Division 5, at 9:30 A.M.  Jennifer Wilcox is the prosecutor.
