HEARING

 

  1. Juan Raphael Pelegrin-Vidal - 02CR2886.  (Murder, Burglary 1st Degree)  Mr. Pelegrin-Vidal (DOB 9/15/58) is charged in connection with the December 12, 2002 beating death of Elaine Fonseca-Rodriguez on Ashland Avenue.  A Competency Hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, May 30, Division 4, at 9:30 A.M.  Shelly Gibson is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Francois L. Cunningham – 05CR3713.  (Murder [2 Counts], Arson 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree)  Mr. Cunningham (DOB 8/6/77) is charged in connection with the October 12, 2005 shooting deaths of Trevor Alexander and Tykea Sanderson in Fern Creek Park.  A Status Hearing is scheduled for Thursday, May 31, Division 10, at 9:45 A.M.  Ryane Conroy is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Donteze E. Stephenson - 06CR3598.  (Murder, Wanton Endangerment [3 Counts])  Mr. Stephenson (DOB 1/23/83) is charged in connection with the October 25, 2006 shooting death of Darryl Head, who was shot while inside a car in the Victory Park neighborhood.  A Suppression Hearing is scheduled for Friday, June 1, Division 13, at 9:30 A.M.  Tom Van De Rostyne is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Wilbert Bethel (DOB 4/6/80) / Thomas Taylor (DOB 7/9/80) – 02CR1558 & 05CR0323.  The defendants are charged with multiple counts involving activities in and around Victory Park, highlighted by the July 31, 2000 murder of Lanogonay McCurley.  A Status Hearing is scheduled for Friday, June 1, Division 10 at 10:00 A.M.  Tom Van De Rostyne and Ryane Conroy are the prosecutors.

 

 

PRE - TRIAL CONFERENCE

 

1.      Kendall Eugene Collins – 06CR0787.  (Murder)  Mr. Collins (DOB 12/9/85) is charged in connection with the February 14, 2006 shooting death of Jeremiah Harris at the corner of 43rd and Market streets.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, May 29, Division 8, at 9:30 A.M.  Mark Baker is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Michael A. Woods – 06CR0252.  (Criminal Attempted Murder, Assault 1st Degree, Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree)  Mr. Woods (DOB 3/31/67) is charged in connection with the January 6, 2006 incident in the 1500 block of Hale Avenue where a Louisville Metro Police officer was cut on the shoulder and face.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, May 30, Division 11, at 9:30 A.M.  John Balliet is the prosecutor.

 

3.      Jason R. Johnson – 07CR0802.  (Murder)  Mr. Johnson (DOB 3/10/83) is charged in connection with the February 17, 2007 shooting death of Marlon Brooks in the 1200 block of West Hill Street in the Parkway Place housing complex.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Thursday, May 31, Division 6, at 8:45 A.M.  Kristi Gray is the prosecutor.

 

4.      Michael E. Chapman – 05CR3689.  (Robbery 1st Degree [7 Counts], Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree)  Mr. Chapman (DOB 1/23/73) is charged in connection with the robbery of several banks in the Louisville area.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Thursday, May 31, Division 9, at 9:00 A.M.  John Balliet is the prosecutor.

 

5.      Malcolm L. Parsons – 07CR1364.  (Murder, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Intoxicants)  Mr. Parsons (DOB 10/28/82) is charged in connection with the April 4, 2007 wreck on Eastern Parkway which resulted in the death of Matthew Johnson.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Thursday, May 31, Division 12, at 9:00 A.M.  Chris Hutchison is the prosecutor.

 

6.      David W. Ehle – 07CR1517.  (Sodomy 1st Degree, Sexual Abuse 1st Degree [2 Counts], Possession of Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance by a Minor [4 Counts], Distribution of Obscene Matter to Minors)  Mr. Ehle (DOB 10/10/48) is charged in connection with the abuse of a juvenile female member of his family.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Thursday, May 31, Division 5, at 2:00 P.M.  Dorislee Gilbert is the prosecutor.

 

7.      Dr. Wrenda Gallien (DOB 5/3/51) / Eric Brown (DOB 2/20/71) - 03CR3073, 03CR3204 & 05CR1084. (BOTH: Obtaining Controlled Substance by Fraud or Deceit [15 Counts]; GALLIEN: Tampering with Physical Evidence, Wrongfully Filling Prescriptions [9 Counts], Prohibited Activities Relating to a Controlled Substance [13 Counts]; BROWN: Possession of a Controlled Substance – Hydrocodone, Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree) The defendants are charged in connection with illegal prescription of medications at the Alternative Health & Welfare Wellness Center at Ten Broeck Hospital on La Grange Road.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, June 1, Division 12, at 9:30 A.M.  Ruth Lerner is the prosecutor.

 

8.      Jonathan Swilley – 07CR1382.  (Fetal Homicide 1st Degree, Assault 1st Degree, Criminal Mischief 1st Degree, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Intoxicants, No Motor Vehicle Insurance, Disregarding Traffic Control Device)  Mr. Swilley (DOB 9/23/73) is charged in connection with the January 13, 2007 wreck on Bardstown Rd. at Interstate 265.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, June 1, Division 10, at 9:45 A.M.  Chris Hutchison is the prosecutor.

 

9.      Richard Johnson – 07CR1500.  (Rape 2nd Degree, Sodomy 2nd Degree)  Mr. Johnson (DOB 1/26/68), a Metro Corrections Sergeant, is charged in connection with the abuse of two juvenile female victims.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, June 1, Division 6, at 10:00 A.M.  Cheryl Robinson is the prosecutor.
