Due to State budget shortfalls, Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear has ordered a mandatory unpaid furlough for all State employees in the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office for the entire week of April 27 through May 1, 2009 In addition, Louisville Metro Mayor Jerry Abramson has ordered a mandatory unpaid furlough for all Metro employees on Friday, May 1. Thus, only a skeleton crew of Metro employees will be available in the Office from April 27-30, and the Office will be totally closed on May 1. The Office will reopen with regular staffing on Monday, May 4 at 8:00 AM -end- |
