ARRAIGNMENTS

 

  1. Johnny Lee Allen (DOB 11/9/87) / James A. Clark (DOB 4/29/89) – 07CR1219.  (Murder [2 Counts], Robbery 1st Degree [2 Counts], Theft by Unlawful Taking >$300, Tampering with Physical Evidence [2 Counts])  The defendants are charged in connection with the February 2, 2007 deaths of Anthony Howze and Ashley Yennes whose bodies were found in a car in an alley off of Beecher Street.  Arraignment is scheduled for Monday, April 9, Division 2, at 9:00 A.M.  Scott Davis is the prosecutor.

 

 

HEARING

 

  1. Joseph A. Stallings – 06CR2904.  (Murder, Assault 2nd Degree, Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree)  Mr. Stallings (DOB 1/6/55) is charged in connection with the July 20, 2006 beating death of Oscar Lloyd Barnes in the Butchertown neighborhood.  A Competency Hearing is scheduled for Monday, April 9, Division 13, at 9:15 A.M.  Chris Hutchison is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Davon S. Tooley – 06CR0598 & 07CR0521.  (Murder, Attempted Murder, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree [5 Counts], Tampering with Physical Evidence [2 Counts])  Mr. Tooley (DOB 4/22/86) is charged in connection with the January 4, 2006 shooting death of Jerrell Vitt outside an apartment complex on Permerland Drive.  A Suppression Hearing is scheduled for Monday, April 9, Division 2, at 10:00 A.M.  Mac Shannon is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Nelson T. Little – 06CR3651.  (Murder)  Mr. Little (DOB 12/15/83) is charged in connection with the November 7, 2006 beating death of Linda Hamill.  The incident took place at an apartment on Beuchel Bank Road.  A Suppression Hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, April 10, Division 3, at 11:30 A.M.  Christie Foster is the prosecutor.

 

 

PRE - TRIAL CONFERENCE

 

1.      Lloyd Hammond – 06CR2087.  (Murder [2 Counts], Burglary 1st Degree, Kidnapping)  Mr. Hammond (DOB 10/20/85) is charged in connection with the June 3, 2006 shooting death of William Sawyers in the 2000 block of West Market Street and the June 17, 2006 shooting death of Kerry Williams in the 700 block of South 23rd Street.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, April 10, Division 7, at 8:30 A.M.  Tom Van De Rostyne is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Mark Allen Felton – 05CR1087.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree)  Mr. Felton (DOB 8/27/68) is charged in connection with the March 24, 2005 stabbing death of Freeman Pinder at Second and Market streets  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, April 10 Division 11, at 10:00 A.M.  Kristi Gray is the prosecutor.

 

3.      Henry J. Crawford, Jr. – 07CR0418.  (Kidnapping, Rape 1st Degree, Sodomy 1st Degree, Assault 1st Degree, Robbery 1st Degree, Burglary 1st Degree, Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree)  Mr. Crawford (DOB 11/6/64) is charged in connection with an October 16, 1990 robbery and sexual attack occurring on Jane Street and involving a female victim.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, April 11, Division 6, at 9:15 A.M.  Ryane Conroy is the prosecutor.

 

4.      James B. Skaggs – 06CR3125.  (Sodomy 3rd Degree [3 Counts])  Mr. Skaggs (DOB 12/4/46), a former teacher at West Point Independent School, is charged in connection with the abuse of a 13 year old female victim in 1977 and 1978.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, April 11, Division 13, at 9:15 A.M.  Jonathan Heck is the prosecutor.

 

5.      Said Ali Biyad – 06CR3272.  (Murder [4 Counts], Criminal Attempted Murder, Rape 1st Degree, Assault 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence [3 Counts])  Mr. Biyad (DOB 1/1/64) is charged in connection with the October 6, 2006 stabbing deaths of his 4 children – Goshany, Khadija, Fatuma and Sidi Ali, ages 2 to 8 – at an apartment in Iroquois Homes.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, April 13, Division 2, at 9:00 A.M.  Carol Cobb is the prosecutor.

 

 

TRIAL

 

1.      Deshawn D. Eddings – 04CR2529.  (Murder)  Mr. Eddings (DOB 4/14/74) is charged in connection with the August 22, 2004 shooting death of Dewhon McAfee outside a residence in the 500 block of South 28th Street.  A Trial is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, April 10, Division 5, at 9:30 A.M.  Jennifer Wilcox is the prosecutor.
