ARRAIGNMENTS

  1. Michael A. Elery – 09CR0625.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Violation of a Protective Order)  Mr. Elery (DOB 3/29/79) is charged in connection with the February, 20, 2009 stabbing death of Dana McDonald at an apartment in the 3300 block of Warwickshire Court.  Arraignment has already occurred.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, April 20, Division 10, at 9:45 A.M.  Michelle Rudovich is the prosecutor.

 

 

HEARING

 

  1. Arthur S. Hynes – 07CR3117.  (Rape 1st Degree)  Mr. Hynes (DOB 10/26/51) is charged in connection with the July 2007 rape of an adult female victim.  A Status Hearing is scheduled for Monday, March 9, Division 3, at 9:30 A.M.  Michelle Grant Rudovich is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Percy D. Brown – 08CR3710.  (Murder, Sodomy 1st Degree, Intimidating a Participant in the Legal Process [2 Counts])  Mr. Brown (DOB 8/29/63) is charged in connection with the September 16, 2004 shooting death of Jennifer French at a home in the 2600 block of West Market Street.  A Bond Hearing is scheduled for Monday, March 9, Division 11, at 10:00 A.M.  Erin White is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Terribo Kohn – 06CR0742.  (Murder)  Mr. Kohn (DOB 12/3/58) is charged in connection with the February 27, 2006 beating death of Horace Transon at a boarding house in the 3700 block of West Broadway Street.  A Competency Hearing is scheduled for Monday, March 9, Division 5, at 1:30 P.M.  Kristi Gray is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Dwayne High – 08CR1877.  (Murder, Robbery 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. High (DOB 8/15/87) is charged in connection with the June 11, 2008 shooting death of Antonio Leach who was found in a car on Revere Drive.  A Hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, March 11, Division 6, at 9:00 A.M.  Ryane Conroy is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Carlos Lamont Ordway – 07CR3193.  (Robbery 1st Degree, Assault 1st Degree [2 Counts], Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree)  Mr. Ordway (DOB 6/21/81) is charged in connection with the August 6, 2007 robbery of the Chase Bank in the 4000 block of Poplar Level Road.  Two bank employees were wounded during the robbery.  A Status Hearing is scheduled for Thursday, March 12, Division 2, at 9:30 A.M.  Jennifer Wilcox is the prosecutor.

 

 

PRE - TRIAL CONFERENCE

 

1.      John M. Davis, Jr. – 08CR2455.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Davis (DOB 8/3/69) is charged in connection with the August 10, 2008 shooting death of Eddie Robinson at a car wash near the intersection of Stonestreet and 3rd Street roads.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, March 9, Division 6, at 9:15 A.M.  Mark Baker is the prosecutor.

 

2.      John Anthony Johnson (DOB 9/17/86) / Tiwuan Johnson (DOB 5/2/85) / Cashaye Whaley (DOB 4/24/81) / Jeramie Whaley (DOB 6/26/81) / Keiandris Whaley (DOB 7/20/82) - 08CR2964.  (ALL: Murder, Assault 1st Degree, Assault 2nd Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  The defendants are charged in connection with the August 28, 2008 shooting death of James Earl Allen outside the Park Hill housing complex which is in the 1700 block of Patton Court.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Monday, March 9, Division 5, at 9:30 A.M.  Dinah Koehler is the prosecutor.

 

3.      Charles Bonner (DOB 1/31/85) / Anthony Hill (DOB 6/4/86) / Damien Holbrook (DOB 12/21/81) – 08CR1880.  (Murder)  The defendants are charged in connection with the August 31, 2007 shooting death of Robert Robinson in the parking lot of the White Castle at Seventh Street and Broadway.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, Division 4, at 9:00 A.M.  Artie McLaughlin is the prosecutor.

 

4.      Nereida Allen (DOB 4/4/86) / Joshua Peacher (DOB 1/10/85) – 08CR2598.  (Murder, Assault 1st Degree, Criminal Abuse 1st Degree [2 Counts], Illegal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Illegal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia)  The defendants are charged in connection with the August 28, 2008 death of 2 year old Christopher James Allen.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, March 11, Division 9, at 9:00 A.M.  Jonathan Heck is the prosecutor.

 

5.      Antonio Healy (DOB 3/26/80) / Marcus Porter (DOB 11/12/75) – 08CR2115.  (Murder, Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, Tampering with Physical Evidence; PORTER: Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree; HEALY: Tampering with a Witness, Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree)  The defendants are charged in connection with the March 26, 2008 shooting death of Djuan Swain, who was found in the 1400 block of Beech Street.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, March 11, Division 8, at 9:45 A.M.  Kristi Gray is the prosecutor.

 

6.      Ronny D. Walker – 07CR3112.  (Murder, Burglary 1st Degree, Tampering with a Witness [2 Counts], Intimidating a Participant in the Legal Process [4 Counts], Tampering with Physical Evidence, Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree)  Mr. Walker (DOB 1/22/65) is charged in connection with the September 15, 2007 beating death of Derek Anthony Scott in a home in the 4200 block of Fordson Way.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, March 13, Division 13, at 9:30 A.M.  Christie Foster is the prosecutor.

 

 

TRIAL

 

1.      Andrew Cochran (DOB 9/27/80) / Damon Talbert (DOB 8/29/83) – 07CR2782.  (Murder, Robbery 1st Degree, Burglary 1st Degree)  The defendants are charged in connection with the August 19, 2007 shooting death of Jamar Payne in an apartment in the De Soto Terrace housing complex.  A Trial is tentatively scheduled for Monday, March 9, Division 10, at 10:00 A.M.  Tom Van De Rostyne is the prosecutor.

 

2.      John Thomas Jones – 07CR1651.  (Murder)  Mr. Jones (DOB 9/26/86) is charged in connection with the April 30, 2007 shooting death of James Bland at the B-Line Food Mart at 3507 W. Broadway.  A Trial is tentatively scheduled for Friday, March 13, Division 10, at 1:30 P.M.  Jon Heck is the prosecutor.

 

 

SENTENCING

 

1.      Emily A. Hall – 07CR3962.  Ms. Hall (DOB 6/9/87) pleaded guilty to Manslaughter 2nd Degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Criminal Mischief 1st Degree and Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Intoxicants in connection with the November 29, 2007 wreck on the Watterson Expressway which resulted in the death of Abram Reimer.  Sentencing is scheduled for Monday, March 9, Division 1, at 11:00 A.M.  Kristi Gray is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Michael D. Stewart – 07CR0863.  Mr. Stewart (DOB 7/25/83) pleaded guilty to Manslaughter 2nd Degree and Wanton Endangerment in connection with the November 17, 2006 wreck on Shelbyville Road at Beckley Station Road which resulted in the death of Andrew Wagner, who was a passenger in the car.  Sentencing is scheduled for Monday, March 9, Division 1, at 1:30 P.M.  Frank Dahl is the prosecutor.
