ARRAIGNMENTS

 

  1. Frederick W. Davis – 09CR0399.  (Murder, Wanton Endangerment [2 Counts], Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Davis (DOB 10/1/90) is charged in connection with the February 4, 2009 shooting death of James F. Allen near the Beecher Terrace housing complex.  Arraignment is scheduled for Monday, February 16, Division 9, at 1:30P.M.  Erin White is the prosecutor.

 

 

HEARING

 

1.      John Thomas Jones – 07CR1651.  (Murder)  Mr. Jones (DOB 9/26/86) is charged in connection with the April 30, 2007 shooting death of James Bland at the B-Line Food Mart at 3507 W. Broadway.  A Status Hearing is scheduled for Monday, February 16, Division 10, at 1:00 P.M.  Jon Heck is the prosecutor.

 

 

 

PRE - TRIAL CONFERENCE

 

1.      Angela Y. Wheeler – 08CR1967.  (Murder, Illegal Possession of a Controlled Substance)  Ms. Wheeler (DOB 11/5/63) is charged in connection with the June 21, 2008 stabbing death of Donald Davis at a home in the 1800 block of Beech Street.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, February 17, Division 7, at 8:30 A.M.  Erin White is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Gail Lynn Coontz – 08CR1574.  (Murder [2 Counts], Tampering with Physical Evidence, Terroristic Threatening, Unlawful Imprisonment 1st Degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree)  Ms. Coontz (DOB 7/8/70) is charged in connection with the March 27, 2008 shooting death of her two children, Greg and Nikki, whose bodies were found in her home on Settle Boulevard in Okolona.  She is also charged in connection with an incident at the University of Louisville health services counseling center.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, February 17, Division 5, at 9:00 A.M.  Dorislee Gilbert is the prosecutor.

 

3.      Kenneth L. Roberson – 07CR2092.  (Murder, Illegal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree)  Mr. Roberson (DOB 6/26/61) is charged in connection with the June 8, 2007 death of Keith Mario Reed, Jr. at 24th and Madison streets.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, February 17, Division 7, at 9:30 A.M.  Artie McLaughlin is the prosecutor.

 

4.      Jimmie Wayne Craig, Jr. (DOB 11/2/77) / Derrick Djan Moore (DOB 8/10/71) – 08CR2830.  (BOTH: Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence; MOORE: Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree)  The defendants are charged in connection with the January 1, 2001 shooting death of Clifton Fant in the alley of the 600 block of South 44th Street.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, February 18, Division 10, at 9:00 A.M.  Erin White is the prosecutor.

 

5.      Geno Anthony Robbins – 08CR3742.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Robbins (DOB 9/5/86) is charged in connection with the December 15, 2008 shooting death of Theodore Weathers who was found in an alley near 26th and Rowan streets.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, February 18, Division 2, at 9:15 A.M.  Angela Johnson is the prosecutor.

 

6.      Brandon Scott Jones – 08CR3264.  (Murder, Robbery 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Jones (DOB 9/22/88) is charged in connection with the October 27, 2008 stabbing death of Sharon R. Jones in an apartment in the 1700 block of Belmar Drive.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, February 20, Division 12, at 9:15 A.M.  Michelle Rudovich is the prosecutor.

 

7.      Martin W. Hughes – 08CR0511.  (Murder [2 Counts], Abuse of Corpse [2 Counts], Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Hughes (DOB 10/9/87) is charged in connection with the February 2, 2008 shooting deaths of Laura Hughes and Tessa Hughes in a home in the 4700 block of Zilma Drive.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, February 20, Division 3, at 11:00 A.M.  Dorislee Gilbert is the prosecutor.
