ARRAIGNMENTS

 

  1. Larry Lamont White – 07CR4230.  (Murder, Rape 1st Degree)  Mr. White (DOB 3/30/58) is charged in connection with the June 1983 shooting death of Pamela Armstrong in the 1400 block of Beech Street.  Arraignment is scheduled for Monday, January 7, Division 2, at 9:00 A.M.  Mark Baker is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Joshua W. Terry – 08CR0002.  (Murder)  Mr. Terry (DOB 8/22/88) is charged in connection with the December 22, 2007 strangulation death of John Patrick Brady whose body was found in a grassy area in the Floyd Street and Broadway area.  Arraignment has already occurred.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Thursday, February 7, Division 12, at 9:00 A.M.  Lisa Cartier Giroux is the prosecutor. 

 

HEARING

 

1.      Donovan B. Mimms – 06CR3731.  (Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of a Handgun by a Minor)  Mr. Mimms (DOB 9/27/89) is charged in connection with the August 24, 2006 shooting death of Charles Smith near 28th Street and Gaulbert Avenue.  A Hearing is scheduled for Monday, January 7, Division 3, at 11:45 A.M.  Khalid Kahloon is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Justin Brandon Lewis – 06CR3546.  (Murder)  Mr. Lewis (DOB 7/7/85) is charged in connection with the October 23, 2006 shooting death of Brittney Dunn in the 400 block of Marret Avenue.  A Competency Hearing is scheduled for Monday, January 7, Division 10, at 1:00 P.M.  Katherine Kingren is the prosecutor.

 

  1. Michael P. Higginbotham – 03CR1702.  On June 15, 2004, Mr. Higginbotham (DOB10/31/83) was sentenced 5 years suspended, 5 years supervised probation for 16 counts of Impersonating a Peace Officer related to incidents where he placed harassing phone calls to individuals and falsely told them that tragic happenings had occurred to loved ones.  A Revocation Hearing is scheduled for Friday, January 11, Division 4, at 10:15 A.M.  Jennifer Wilcox is the prosecutor.

 

 

PRE - TRIAL CONFERENCE

 

1.      Daniel Rodriguez – 07CR2867.  (Murder, Criminal Attempted Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence)  Mr. Rodriguez (DOB 1/19/84) is charged in connection with the August 19, 2007 shooting death of Loranzo Hyatt who was found in the emergency lane of Interstate 264 between Cane Run Road and Dixie Highway.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, January 8, Division 8, at 8:30 A.M.  Michelle Grant Rudovich is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Ronny D. Walker – 07CR3112.  (Murder, Burglary 1st Degree, Tampering with a Witness [2 Counts], Intimidating a Participant in the Legal Process [4 Counts], Tampering with Physical Evidence, Persistent Felony Offender 1st Degree)  Mr. Walker (DOB 1/22/65) is charged in connection with the September 15, 2007 beating death of Derek Anthony Scott in a home in the 4200 block of Fordson Way.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, January 11, Division 13, at 8:30 A.M.  Christie Foster is the prosecutor.

 

3.      Carey D. McNeil (DOB 8/31/86) / Jesus Francisco Solis (DOB 12/6/88) / Antonio Marco Solis-Lopez (DOB 11/14/76) – 07CR0329.  (ALL: Murder [2 Counts], Assault 1st Degree, Robbery 1st Degree [3 Counts], Kidnapping, Trafficking in Marijuana, Tampering with Physical Evidence; SOLIS-LOPEZ: Persistent Felony Offender 2nd Degree)  The defendants are charged in connection with the January 12, 2007 shooting deaths of Isaac Vidaurri Perez and Isaias Perez Gallegos at the Jefferson Square Apartments at 5405 Outer Loop.  A third man was also wounded in the incident.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, January 11, Division 1, at 9:00 A.M.  David Lewis is the prosecutor.

 

4.      David W. Ehle – 07CR1517.  (Sodomy 1st Degree, Sexual Abuse 1st Degree [2 Counts], Possession of Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance by a Minor [4 Counts], Distribution of Obscene Matter to Minors)  Mr. Ehle (DOB 10/10/48) is charged in connection with the abuse of a juvenile female member of his family.  A Pre-Trial Conference is scheduled for Friday, January 11, Division 5, at 9:00 A.M.  Dorislee Gilbert is the prosecutor.

 

 

SENTENCING

 

1.      John Marrion Terry – 04CR3286.  Mr. Terry (DOB 12/31/61) was found guilty of Manslaughter 1st Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence in connection with the March 26, 2004 stabbing death of Linda Elmore near the intersection of Adam and Campbell Streets.  Sentencing is scheduled for Monday, January 7, Division 13, at 10:30 A.M.  Ryane Conroy is the prosecutor.

 

2.      Cecil E. Geron – 06CR1764.  Mr. Geron (DOB 10/28/76) pleaded guilty to Manslaughter 2nd Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence in connection with the May 24, 2006 beating death of Kristopher McGary in the alley in the 900 block of Beecher Street.  Sentencing is scheduled for Monday, January 7, Division 10, at 1:00 P.M.  Felicia Nu’Man is the prosecutor.

 

3.      Jeffrey E. Steitz – 07CR0277.  Mr. Steitz (DOB 6/30/64) was found guilty of Use of a Minor in a Sexual Performance and Possession of Matter Portraying Minor in a Sexual Performance in connection with incidents involving a young female.  Sentencing is scheduled for Tuesday, January 8, Division 11, at 9:00 A.M.  Jonathan Heck is the prosecutor.
